SUMMARY:

This role is designed to provide a college student with valuable professional experiences involving Human Resources projects and initiatives so the individual can gain relevant work experience while applying the learnings from University instruction.  The intern will directly assist and perform work under the guidance of the HR Business Partner team.  This role will work on projects that support the organizational goal of achieving Strong Talent & Positive Culture.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  Training design and curriculum implementation; Assist with the execution of retention and engagement activities; Conduct analyses on individual roles, span of control and reporting relationships; Review and assist in the creation of  meaningful Job Descriptions;  Prepare high-quality presentations that provide recommendations with the appropriate mix of relevant data and creativity so recommendations can be delivered to Senior Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Currently a student at an accredited four-year College or University
  • Human Resources; Management or Business-related major
  • Microsoft Office (strong skills with PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Visio or other graphic design, materials development software (preferred)
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Specific vision abilities, including close vision, operate computer screen for extending periods of time
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently
